“ We came for lunch, and the food and beer were so good we came back for dinner as well! The best ever pub pie is some boast, especially in Yorkshire, but it was accurate! I've never had a better pie. The staff were wonderful and friendly, and the food was magnificent. ”

“ Called for a lunchtime family meal. We did book in advance, and a good job as was busy. There was loads of choice on the menu, took us ages to make a decision. Service was great, both young girls were coving all tables promptly with a smile on their face, even though it was busy. Food was very nice, we ordered sausage and mash, steak and pie duo and chicken burger (forgot to take pictures), was all presented nicely and tasted great. Will definitely be back soon ”
“ Having not visited the Old Hall for years, I've been twice in the last month! There is a good selection on offer across the different menus. On both visits there's always been a friendly welcome. The staff are super helpful and attentive without being obtrusive. . Lily was brilliant on our first visit when she look after us and the same service this week from the various staff whose names I didn't get. On both occasions, the lady who appears to be the owner / manager (sorry I didn't get her name) has been so friendly and welcoming and she works so efficiently. From managing the bar, to showing people to their table, to taking orders, delivering meals and clearing tables, she is just everywhere that someone is needed. She's a star! The food has also been great - quality ingredients, cooked really well and served piping hot. Thank you to all - you're providing great service in a lovely pub with so much character and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Excellent! ”

Food was tasty and good portions. And while we didn’t have a pet, liked to see it has designated dining spaces for people without dogs, and one for with dogs! ”
